LESSON OF THE DAY 83

Ayahs of the Day:
Have you not seen those who praise themselves for purity? Allah purifies whom He will, and they will not be wronged in the least. See how they invent lies about Allah! But that by itself is a manifest sin. [4: 49,50]

Hadith of the Day:
Allah, the master of honor says:" For those who love one another for the sake of My majesty and magnificence, there will be high seats of light, that will be the envy of prophets and martyrs".[Tirmidhi]

Wise Quote of the Day:
Put aside your pride, set down your arrogance and remember your grave. [Ali radi Allah anhu]

Guidance of the Day:
Allah the Almighty has said; "Remember Me; I will remember you", (Quran, 2:152). Whoever remembers his Lord, God remembers him, and whomever God remembers, he is enriched in this world and the Hereafter and is in need of nothing.

One of the great things about dhikr (remembrance) is that it is different from other acts of worship, like Pilgrimage and Prayer. Remembrance is not time restricted; it is associated with all aspects of life, such as meals, getting dressed, traveling, and the like. It is said that when one is in the state of remembrance, any affliction that comes to him raises his rank, and if one dies in the state of remembrance, he or she dies as a martyr. [Purification of the heart]

Food for Thought:
Computers are magnificent tools for the realization of our dreams, but no machine can replace the spark of a human spirit, compassion, love and understanding.
